As expected, Australia won this game easily . . . and as predicted, the Sri Lankans continue to show they are coming to terms with the finer points of Indoor Cricket. With only 8 months experience of the game under the belts of all but one player, the Sri Lankans are showing what their World Cup team of last year showed: they can all play cricket, and they can and are learning those important facets peculiar to the indoor game. Don't be fooled by their comparative low scores in this game--Australia are playing extremely well at the moment and capitalise to the maximum on any errors of their opponents, but the Sri Lankans are improving every game.

Rest assured, Sri Lanka are part of the international scene, and it isn't going to be very long before they are up there with the best of the rest, and that is well worth waiting for. You can quote me on that . . . .
