New Zealand v Australia

Australia opened up its account earlier today with a very comfortable win over England. New Zealand lost to South Africa, but in a close game. This game could tell us a lot about the final standings in this division, although we have yet to see Sri Lanka, who play England at the same time as this game.

Batting first, Australia posted a solid 148. New Zealand's chase began promisingly, with 10 off the first over, but ultimately the opening stand was reduced to just 1. The big partnership to rectify the situation never eventuated, and Australia basically cruised to victory.
