Sri Lanka
storm home to defeat South Africa in five Test series.
Despite losing
the first two Tests, Sri Lanka have defeated South Africa 3 -
2 in the recent International played in Sri Lanka. Full details
of the Series can be found on the Ceylon Indoor Cricket website,

The newest
of the International teams continues to impress, and this latest
success simply underlines the steady improvement they have been
making over the past couple of years.
- November
2001--defeated a touring Indian side 5-0
- January
2002--beat the touring Australians in one Test match, the first
ever Test loss for the Australian Men.
- April 2002--defeated
the touring England team 3-0
- October
2002--finished 3rd in the World Cup in New Zealand. Some believed
South Africa's absence from this World Cup allowed Sri Lanka
to finish higher than they should have--this latest result against
South Africa seems to put that theory to bed.
- September
2003--defeated the touring South Africans 3-2.

difficult Sri Lanka would be on their home turf. I think we're
