Day 2

Day two ( 22nd October ) - first round. Posted 6:57pm Perth Time (GMT+08:00hrs)
England play the in-form Australia, and South Africa seek to open their account against a rapidly improving New Zealand.

Australia 130 ( 4 skins )
defeated England 38 ( no skins )

New Zealand 104 ( 3 skins ) defeated South Africa 80 ( 1 skin )

Day two- second round.
South Africa take on England. South Africa are no doubt determined to atone for their first game loss against the defending champions, although just recording a win is probably a higher motivator.
New Zealand and Australia meet yet again. New Zealand scored 29 against Australia first time around, and they will be looking to vastly improve on that effort.

England 119 ( 2 skins ) defeated South Africa 107 ( 2 skins )

Australia 108 ( 3 skins ) defeated New Zealand 70 ( 1 skin )

A very limited bag of highlights today, but good news for Kiwi fans--
Col Taylor (New Zealand) took as good a catch as has been taken all series--even Col didn't realise he had actually taken the catch until he opened his eyes. We're told that New Zealand were also well served by superb side-line support from Gavin Doull.

So .... after two full days of competition--

Australia remain undefeated, England just retain second place over New Zealand, and South Africa are still looking for their first win.

For those of you who've not been able to make the trip
to Perth, each results page will have a small photo
showing you a bit of our city and surrounds.
